February is my second favorite month. It's just so jammed pack with fun stuff: there's Valentine's Day, Black History Month and Mardi Gras (which I discovered as an adult). I decided to mark the month with a arts and crafts workshop for the ages, one that is a hodgepodge of all things February.
My vision is to have masks for Mardi Gras, wooden hearts for Valentines and colored pasta bread for Black History Month for people to come and create to the backdrop of brass band music.
This Saturday, February 10 from 12 to 2 pm at the Beckley-Saner Recreation Center, come out and enjoy!
