Sanctuary
January 2022's Sanctuary exhibition featured works by LaShonda Cooks and her dad, Gary Cooks, at St. Matthew's Cathedral. It showcased original works on paper and canvas by artist and award-winning retired art teacher Gary Cooks in his debut show.
His work draws from the history of mandalas and the power of balance and symmetry amidst a sea of changing colors. Here's a sneak peek:
