I am a Dallas-born and based artist and writer who loves exploring cultural norms, ideas and beauty through words and images. My work often blends sources of nostalgia – vintage photographs, fairytales and cultural items with household names and concepts as I dive into my subjects like a science project. I start with a simple question or idea and test it, research and follow it to wherever the answers lead.

The world is my canvas. I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of transforming ordinary people, places and objects into art and finding magic in the mundane. I routinely use toys, dishes, mirrors, wood, fabric and sometimes traditional canvas and digital pens as vehicles for creation.
