Tears Series

A compilation of abstract artworks featuring colorful fabric, scattered letters, and vibrant compositions on wood. Honored to have been apart of the Tears Show at the African American Museum of Dallas with Jennifer Cowley as curator and visionary.

My pieces explored the weight of White women's tears in comparison to the how undervalued the tears of Black women have been historically and continue to be in some cases and spaces.
