Coming of Age:
Pursuit of Womanhood

First major exhibition was with my art brother Jamaal at our alma mater Babson College. At our five year reunion, we realized we were both still creating. He orchestrated and connected with our former professor and friends and we were featured in Hollister Gallery, where the faculty offices are.  Using a combination of paintings, magazines and scrabble pieces, my goal was to explore the range of beauty, gender and power through a massive collage.
