24 x 36 inch heavy duty gallery wrapped canvas with acrylic and mixed media elements. 
 
Created live during 2026 Literature and Arts Festival at Cedar Valley College with community collaboration from students, guests and staff. 
 
Image captures the beauty and magic of books as an escape and safe space.  The books on the shelf have the names of some of the collaborators and also feature nods to some of my favorite books, i.e. Lady in Yellow Dress from Toni Morrison's "Tar Baby."  It also have elements from Dallas skyline hidden inside.
