Local musicians and visual artist create jazz on canvas monthly at Bonton Farms
July 18, from 11:30 am to 1 pm, live music and painting will bloom midday at Bonton Farms. Dynamic musician Eric Willis will serenade guests with reggae-inspired jazz while visual artist LaShonda Cooks interprets their notes in real-time with paint. The resulting creation will be raffled off at the end of the performance.
The July concert is the second of a monthly series pairing live music from different genres with live painting at the South Dallas farm: The Jazz on Canvas series is sponsored by the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture and free for the public. It is presented in community partnership with Bonton Farms.
